Code for Pakistan is one of its own kind of initiatives to develop a culture of collaborative and open source solutions by engaging citizens in the process of problem identification and devising creative IT solutions for the government and citizens of Pakistan. Code for Pakistan arranges Hackathon every year to engage citizens of Pakistan and foster their innovative ideas aimed at resolving community problems
Although it was a virtual hackathon because of the covid condition. I had the privilege to mentor the participants in the hackathon and helped each startup to turn their ideas into living products. All participating startups were trained with the prerequisites of design thinking and prototyping training and at the end of the Hackathon, They were able to develop their own MVPs for the nationwide competition to win the grant
